I feel very fortunate to have discovered this wonderful care home for my sister who is suffering from advanced-stage dementia. She came to the home directly from hospital and was in very poor condition. The carers immediately got to work and brought about a major transformation in her general health and well-being. Woodlands Farmhouse is a small, comfortable home that is truly "just like home" It is very much a human scale residence accommodating people of varying degrees of physical and mental disabilities. Its carers are well trained, and more importantly, are genuinely caring and compassionate people. I am always impressed by the kindness and patience shown to my sister who is no longer able to communicate and has no obvious cognition. I visit often, and I am always made welcome. The staff are always open to ideas and discussion and are excellent communicators. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. This care home is professional, very competent, and compassionate. The owner, manager, and care team are in my view excellent, and I have no reservations in recommending them to others.

Thank you for all the help, kindness and understanding you gave my mother and ourselves over the past few months. Mum resisted leaving her home and although the arrival was delayed when she finally got to you; Woodlands did become her home. I can honestly say I was happy she was in your care and had no misgivings at all about her being there - Indeed when I think of her now I think of her at Woodlands rather than her own home.

Thank you so much for all the kindness and care you all gave Dad during his two years at Woodlands. It had to be way over and above anything we could have hoped for him. You have a lovely homely comfortable home with a warm friendly atmosphere, he was looked after so well & everyone seemed to do their very best for him, as well as putting up with constant phone calls from us. Thank you too for all the help you gave out so readily when I came down, nothing seemed too much trouble for you all & we really appreciated your kindness. Words don't seem adequate to thank you for the last two years.
