Welcome to our Website, where I hope you will learn a little about 'Woodlands Farmhouse'. We are a small home with 12 ensuite bedrooms; all except two are on the ground floor. Although we are small we are able to offer everything you would expect from a larger home and we believe more! We think 'Small is Special' and I shall explain why:
We are set in an out of town location with two acres of grounds where our chickens, ducks and ducklings roam free supplying us with eggs for our homemade cakes and the home is also host to a Border Terrier called 'Kessie' who arrived with her owner earlier this year. Our aim is to provide a 'Home from Home' environment making the transition to residential care as easy as possible.
We have a small team of dedicated staff offering 24 hour care. The staff have either achieved NVQ qualification or are currently working towards them enabling them to offer individualised care to our residents.
We are Registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection and our up to date Inspection Report is available for you to view.
Planned for 2007/2008 is a 9 bed extension offering superbly appointed ensuite rooms.
